Megasearch is an internet first: a series of topic-specific search engines, combining FAST search technology with Fast Web Media's editorial expertise and web experience. The project is developing the fastest, most relevant and up-to-date delivery of information on the net.

Commercially, Megasearch products present clients with a unique opportunity to own the delivery of information for a particular interest area. Topic-specific search engines can be built according to customer's requirements, using technology under license from Fast Search and Transfer.

The first of these products, Megasoccer Search, is a prototype search engine, built around a unique index of over 4000 soccer web sites, totalling over 1 million pages. It is a resource for football fans everywhere, delivering information directly related to their sport.
