Fast Web Media, the wholly owned UK operating company of Total sports Online AS, has concluded a deal with Sportech PLC, the UK's leading football gaming business, for the sale of 4thegame.com, one of the oldest and most respected football websites in the world.

The sale of 4thegame.com to Sportech PLC will strengthen the already considerable online presence of The New Football Pools. With 700,000 unique monthly users and an international customer base, 4thegame.com is a strategically important acquisition as well as an ideal host website to cross sell and market the full complement of Sportech's football games.

Under the new agreement, Fast Web Media, a leading Sports Digital Agency in the UK, will continue to provide their operational and creative expertise to 4thegame.com.

Commenting on the deal Will Muirhead, Managing Director of Football Pools Online, said: 'Given 4thegame.com's heritage and track record of nurturing their football audience, I believe that the acquisition will provide Sportech with extensive online possibilities.
