FAST WEB MEDIA TO PROMOTE MANCHESTER WORLD SPORT 08

Fast Web Media, a digital agency specialising in sports PR, Online Marketing (including SEO), Social Media and Website Development, have been appointed by Manchester City Council, after a competitive pitch, to help develop a sports communications campaign with other key partners for Manchester World Sport 08 (MWS08).
Manchester plays host to five world class sports events in 2008, in what will be the biggest year of global sport for the city since the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The campaign, Manchester World Sport 08, will be managed and developed by Manchester City Council and Marketing Manchester in consultation with UK Sport and NWDA (North West Regional Development Agency) all working to achieve greater exposure for Manchester as a great sporting city both nationally and internationally.
Michael Flynn, CEO of Fast Web Media, said: "We are delighted that Manchester City Council has appointed Fast Web Media to the task of raising the city's profile. - 9th FINA World Swimming Championships 2008 (25m): 9 - 13 April 2008, MEN Arena
- UEFA Cup Final: 14 May 2008, City of Manchester Stadium, Sportcity
- BUPA Great Manchester Run: 18 May 2008, Manchester City Centre
- Hi-Tec World Squash Championships Manchester 2008: 11 - 19 October 2008, National Squash Centre, Sportcity
