LIVERPOOL THE TEAM TO WATCH - Reds top pre-season search charts

As the new season gets underway across Europe, English Premiership side Liverpool are the team generating most interest among fans, according to the latest figures from Megasoccer.com, the specialist football search engine.

The Anfield-based side have been the most searched-for club in the 6 weeks preceding the start of the season, while new signing Djibril Cisse is the most searched-for player. Completing a pre-season treble Rafa Benitez pipped new Juventus boss Fabio Capello as the most searched-for coach.

Michael Flynn, C.E.O. of Fast Web Media, the company behind Megasoccer.com, said: "The total number of searches on Megasoccer soared by more than 200% during July, demonstrating both the search engine's popularity among football fans and the level of anticipation around the new season."
